Carter 650 Boost

There’s a guy on our CX team who requested a frame like this from me a few years ago. I had built a few over the years but I could not understand the appeal. Carter was very specific on what he wanted- room for 27.5×2.6” tires, a 67.5 degree head angle and a really, really long top tube. I thought that he was insane, that was until I rode it. Now I have one.

The steel is large diameter and durable. The frame is made for an internally routed 31.6 mm diameter dropper post. The brake mount is a Paragon post mount set for a 1 60 mm rotor but it can be adapted for anything up to a 203 mm. Most of the hardware is from Paragon Machine works, right here in Nor-Cal. If you are looking to ride the rough stuff but don’t want full suspension, this is the frame to get.
